Stijn Vandenberg a remporté le tour d'Irlande, vainqueur de la première étape, ce jeune coureur a réussi à conservé son bien. La dernière étape a été remporté par Mercato (Team LPR) en battant au sprint ses deux compagnons d'échappées.

Du côté du Regio Tour, c'est un coureur d'Agritubel qui s'est imposé : Duenas. Il devance Igniatev (Tinkoff) et Kunitski. Lors de la dernière étape, Palomares Villaplana a battu Petacchi!
